The street itself has a nice atmosphere, so tourists from all over the world come here to drink.There are many restaurants in Kyoto City that are listed in the Michelin Guidebook★. Tokyo has the most Michelin-starred restaurants in the world.★ Paris is the second place, followed by this small city of Kyoto come in third place. And the dishes at the various restaurants lining this street are also mostly tasty .撞木辻子（しゅもくのずし）と言うＴ字通りは、大阪の飲み屋横丁や東京新宿のゴールデン街のような通りです。しかしそれらの飲み屋街よりは撞木辻子（しゅもくのずし）通りは明らかに小ぢんまりしている通りです。この通りには、古い家屋（町家）を改装したお店がいくつか並んでいます。通り自体が良い雰囲気なので、世界中の観光客が飲みに来ています。京都市にはミシュランガイドブックの★店が、世界的にも多く集まっています。ミシュランガイドブックの★付き店が最も多い都市は、日本の東京です。そして2位がパリ市で、次いで3位にこの小さな京都市がランキングしています。そんな京都市にある安価な飲み屋街ですので、こちらの通りの各飲食店も、料理の味は良いです。
