When we began the search for an International School 6 years ago for our first child, we spent considerable time and effort researching. In the end, we decided on Kspace. Since then, all 3 of our children have spent time there. Here are my observations on why I am extremely happy with our decision. CreativityIn world increasingly focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), even at early-learning ages, Kspace stands out as a school focused on creativity and the arts. From my perspective, their secret sauce is expanding young children’s creativity by seamlessly weaving music and arts into their early-learning curriculum. For example, many young children (3-5) don’t have the fine motor skills to draw or create art. Kspace instructor use techniques such a splatter painting, watercolors, hand painting, tape resist, among others, to creatively solve this issue. The result, at the end of the year each student has created a portfolio of art. From my experience, there is tremendous value in this portfolio as they kids can visualize their body of work created over the year. At this early age, this resonates much more than a folder of printouts. For music, Kspace is the only early learning school we have visited that does not use CDs or DVDs when doing sing alongs. Most, if not all, teachers are well versed in the arts, usually with a specialization in music or art. When it is sing along time, the teachers will sing and some will play instruments. The atmosphere created is very different that pressing play on a device. Again, from my personal perspective, all 3 of my children experienced an extremely creative environment. The children would sing at home and actively want to do art and crafts. Upon moving schools, my older children began to focus on core components of standardized education. So I am grateful for their time at Kspace. Community Kspace puts a tremendous amount of effort into facilitating a community at their school. There is an annual picnic and coffee mornings. They get very high marks for this. From the information I have heard from others and my own experience, this is often the case at schools with an interenational feel and many expats. So I am not sure if this is a differentiating factor. ConsistencyWe have had 3 children learn at Kspace (over the past 6 years), and the level of education has remained top notch. The school continues to find top talent, and delivers a extremely unique product. This is not an easy feat, in a field where the product depends so highly on the people involved. There is a lot of time that goes into this on the surface and behind the scenes.Kspace was the right choice for our family. We wanted a heavy emphasis on creativity in the early-learning years, and we have been, and continue to be, extremely satisfied with our choice.

Great international school for children from 14 months to 6 years old. My son and daughter attend this school and they really enjoy it. Wonderful teachers and staff, who take good care of our children! A lot of music, art and fun activities, but they also make use of the most up-to-date learning methods. They learn so much by playing and doing, always big smiles on their faces!
Participated in a trial KSpace baby class. It was very fun and exciting with lots of singing, colours, bubbles and other stimulations that kept babies mesmerised. The class was entirely in English, mostly foreign (non Japanese) mums and babies.

子供の誕生会をサイエンスをテーマのパーティーパッケージでお願いしました。３時間、子供が楽しめるようにみっちりコンテンツ満載（Opening Ceremony、Party games、Birthday Quiz、Science Magic Show 、Experiment、Art、Disco time、Birthday Cake ceremony 等）でした。こちらのパーティーには何度か呼ばれて「楽しかった」という子供の感想は聞いていたのですが、今回、主催者となって一部始終を目撃して、そのクオリティの高さに驚きました。子供たちも最初からずっと笑顔で満喫の様子で、最高の時間になりました。これまでも色々な誕生会に呼ばれたり開いたりしてきましたが、都内でこれ以上の子供向けの誕生会は望めないと思いました。
