空手をやってる人には聖地のようで外国人の空手家から道を聞かれて案内してきました、地元でも知ってる人は少ない小さいお寺ですが住職はとても気さくな方で日本語を話せない外国のお客さんにもジェスチャー交じりで船越氏についての説明をしてくれてお茶まで頂き気持ちの良い時間が過ごせました。注)船越 義珍（ふなこし ぎちん、1868年12月23日（明治元年11月10日） - 1957年4月26日）は、沖縄県出身の空手家。初めて空手（当時は唐手）を本土に紹介した一人であり、松濤館流の事実上の開祖。本土での空手普及に功績があった。経歴や実力については不明な部分もある。It seems that the ”zensyouji ” temple is called the holy place to the foreigner who is learning karate.
