During my time, ISN was very young and in the process of defining itself and it was amazing to watch the teachers, staff, and students build this amazing school from the ground up - both literally and figuratively! The environment was focused always on the children and helping them to grow and reach their fill potential with a strong variety of English and Japanese classes and activities in the beautiful, fresh Nagano area.Throughout the years, I continue to follow the school's progress online and it is wonderful to see them continue to grow. My time with ISN is a time I treasure always. Now I have small children of my own and hope whole-heartedly there will be a day when they can experience life at ISN too!

It was such an enriching experience for me! Having taught preschoolers in Singapore for the past 10 years, I relocated to Matsumoto with my family. We settled down quickly many thanks to the school!My fellow colleagues were amazing - knowledgeable and kind. The students were adorable, eager to learn and their families supportive too. We still keep in touch!Well, things were not always rosy or went as planned. Yet, the school would rally together, seek solutions and move forward. It is this ISN spirit of perseverance and teamwork that will stand the school in good stead for many more years to come.Being the only international school in Matsumoto and an IB school too, I think are notable achievements. この春娘が卒園しました。コロナ禍ではありましたが、安全を守りつつできるだけの行事をしていただき、思い出もたくさん作れました。先生も親御さんも気さくでとても明るくいい雰囲気です。国際基準のお勉強もしつつ、ほぼ毎日公園に連れて行ってくださったりと、プログラムがとても充実しています。その上年間の休みは少なく、早朝から夕方まで長時間みていただけるので働く親にはとてもありがたい環境です。英語力はスクールの中でも外でも自ら話しかけて英語で世間話ができるほどになりました。先生方が子どもの可能性を信じ、寛容な対応をしてくださったおかげで探求心や、積極性もかなり培われました。良いスクールに出会えて感謝しています。
