大王郵便局の特徴
3週間の滞在中に訪れた唯一の郵便局です。
オーストラリアと比べて待ち時間が全くありません。
スタッフの人数が多く、快適な対応が受けられます。
This was the only post office I went to in my 3 week stay in Japan.Compared to the queues I have to endure in Australia, this is heaven. I've seen no more then 2 other customers, and being attended to by a staff of five. How the post office makes a profit? But the service is great! When I first arrived, I was personally escorted to an address I was looking for. Can't beat the service!The negative: Postcards and envelopes. I hoped for a decent selection of postcards, and to buy a packet of envelopes. But no postcards, and the packet contained only 3. I guess letter writing died with the feature phone's introduction.There is a ATM in the foyer which accepts foreign credit cards. However, the foyer is locked after hours, and thus access to the ATM.
