日本情緒が溢れる旅館。駅からは少し離れていますが、観光には便利な立地だと思います。
私が泊まったのはもう20年くらい前。磨き上げられた艶々の建材が好きな私には味がありすぎる素敵な旅館でした。今はどうなっているのかなぁ。

It is the nicest place we have stayed so far in Japan. The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. There's no ensuite but don't let that stop you staying here. If you want to try a ryokan but lack Japanese language skills then this is a great option.
un po' povera di servizi (no microonde, no wi-fi, no sala da pranzo, no bollitore) ma perfettamente ubicata.
Classica locanda giapponese in una bella casa nel pieno centro di Matsumoto. La sistemazione e l'ambiente sono in effetti un po' vecchiotti, ma l'ubicazione invidiabile di questa ryokan ne fa comunque un buon posto in cui soggiornare. La signora poi, è stata sempre gentilissima e disponibile.
While the location was great and the room lovely, the walls and windows rattled very loudly with the noise when it was windy at night, the pillow was really hard and uncomfortable, I had to check out by 9:30am and was not allowed to leave my bags after 12:30. Owner was nice enough when I arrived but kind of rude and unhelpful in the morning.
Wonderful owner, great room, very close to great shopping!
