You can find the restaurant in the third building past the 7Eleven on the left side of the road of the marked path from Odawara station toward the main gate of the castle. An elevator is available. We arrived around 11:15am on Sunday when the shop first opened and we were the first visitors. The restaurant did become more full but not crowded as a scheduled party arrived.The employees were courteous and friendly but professional. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful and the decoration was appropriate, not minimalist but not overdone. We did find a little too much reliance on fake plants, which always feels cheap to me. The menu contained a basic set of Japanese style foods, including tempura rice bowl, tempura set, sashimi set, and a full bento teishoku set. We ordered the sashimi and found the fish was fresh, the miso soup was beautiful and delicious, and the set was accompanied with floral decorations that added to the experience. Overall we were satisfied. We did not attempt to test the foreign language capability but we suspect it is minimal. The menu was all in Japanese. Please note the restaurant accepts only cash.
