法隆寺はどこ見ても美しい、この廻廊もそう。
西院伽藍を取り囲む回廊で、これも国宝に指定されています。柱に学校で習ったエンタシスが見て取れます。美しいの一言につきます。
後世の改修かなと想像するのですが横の梁が西側はアーチが強くて東はストレートになってます。

エンタシスの柱が美しい回廊です。世界遺産を構成している一部となります。回廊は東側の鐘楼、中央の大講堂、西側の経蔵につながり、並立する五重塔と金堂を囲んでいます。平安時代以前の回廊は、経蔵、鐘楼の手前で閉じられ、大講堂、経蔵、鐘楼は回廊の外側に建っていました。また西側より東側のほうが一間だけ長くなっているのは、金堂と五重塔のバランスを考慮したものだと考えられています。飛鳥時代の製作で、国宝に指定されている貴重なものです。

左右の梁が違っている。緩やかなカーブを描いているのが、飛鳥時代の形式。
