Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful 1 night stay at Shimano Log house at the beginning of November. Having stayed in many guest houses/Air BnBs in Japan we honestly felt this was one of the best. Every small detail has been considered for the comfort and convenience of the guest. From the purpose built BBQ which you can sit around and cook as an intimate group, the outdoor sink meaning you don't have to constantly go back and forth to the main house, gas fire starter, charcoal, logs for the 2(!) inside log burners, the list goes on! With comfy futons, fresh towels and all the kitchen accessories you need, the owners truly go above and beyond to make your stay here easy and enjoyable. Our only regret was staying just the 1 night, we will be back!
