地域の田植え時期の目安とされた、樹齢300年以上、幹の太さは宮城県では２番目になる「種まき桜」があります。「内海家の種まき桜」「鳥屋ケ崎八幡神社の種まき桜」と共に、加美町三大種まき桜の１つですが、桜側から見た薬萊山などの景色もオススメです。There is a 300-year-old tree with the second thickest trunk in Miyagi Prefecture, known as the “seeding cherry tree,” which was used as a guideline for the timing of rice planting in the region.It is one of the three major seeding cherry blossoms in Kami Town, along with the Utsumi family's seeding cherry blossoms and the Toriyagasaki Hachiman Shrine seeding cherry blossoms.
