As someone who came from the US for a brief work trip, getting my haircut at Amu was a totally enjoyable experience! My hairdresser was very professional and fun to work with. Although I don't speak much Japanese, nor does my hairdresser speak English, he still tried very hard to have an engaging conversation with me while treating my hair with meticulous care. Loved it so much and will definitely visit here again if I ever come back to Yamagata!
