I had my first massage experience in Japan at this local shop. First, you can choose your oil scent for aromatherapy, and then you will move to the massage room to change. A pair of shorts are provided in case you’d like to keep your own clothes clean from oil! I thought this was a nice touch. The massage itself was wonderful, and I could relax on the table without feeling self-conscious. After the massage, a wet towel and body towel are provided so you can clean the oil off. A cup of tea waited for me outside. I would gladly return to this shop again!While the staff doesn’t speak English, I would still recommend this shop as the staff is kind and explains everything patiently and in simple Japanese.
