Kimiya is a wonderful host and this was one of the best AirBnb stays we've ever had - we didnt want to leave! It was a peaceful and calming escape to the Kyoto countryside, with a glimpse of traditional building and living. Absolutely recommend taking up the offer of home cooked meals - everything was so delicious with incredibly high quality ingredients, including vegetables from Kimiya's garden. The farm is very remote with limited transport, however Kimiya offers to drive guests to the nearest train station (Shimoyama), and gives great suggestions for sites to see. However, we decided to spend our time at the farm reading and resting. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Kimiya over dinner, and going for long walks, taking in the countryside.
