A hidden gem of the Kimono rental near the Hokanji tenple or Yasaka Pagoda area.The owner is very kind. She has many variaty of good quality Kimono made of silk. The price is affordable.
Found this kimono rental shop on our way to Yasaka Kamimachi and it was a fabulous experience. The two women that work here were very gentle and kind.There were a lot of kimono choices. They also help you dressing and do a haircut for women.We totally recommend this place.

If you prefer not to rent from a commercial kimono shop and want to experience a more authentic Kyoto cultural atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. The owner is highly professional and attentive, and the rental prices are very reasonable!
