Ichiyo-in : Ichiyo-in Temple is located in an area of Yakushi-yama south of Nishigamo in Kita-ku. This area of Yakushi-yama spreads around the hill side of Mt. Yakushi in the west. The temple is currently known as a place for visitors to practice Zazen. The temple belongs to Obaku sect of Buddhism and its main object of worship is Yakushi-nyorai statue which later on became the origin of this area of Yakushi-yama ( yama = mountain ).
