石造鳥居 Sekizōtorii Stone torii gate is dated 1763 making it the oldest torii gate in Katsushika Ward. Because of the 江戸川堤防線 Edogawa teibō-sen [Edo River Embankment Line Road], this entrance to the shrine is blocked off. The pair of 狛犬 komainu guardians [lion dogs] date from 1760.

周辺のオススメ
宝暦13年(1763)と記された、葛飾区内に現存する最も古い石造鳥居です。形は一般的なもので、柱が八字形に傾斜し、上の笠木などが曲線を描き両端が反り上がっているのが特色です。It is the oldest stone Torii gate existing in Katsushika-ku which has inscription as February, auspicious day, Horeki 13 (1763). Shape is common. The pillars are inclined, the upper coping draw a curve and both ends are warped up.
