もう最高すぎる。we luckily stumbled upon this gem…food — best. ever. period. we had omakase (which he offered at the price we could afford). robust soup to start. clear bright raw oysters to follow. creamy flavorful yuba from his friend. best yellowtail and ootoro / chutoro sashimi. fluffy smile inducing satsuma age from his hometown region satsuma / kagoshima. then finished with a mouthwatering kyushu wagyu don (with extra ootoro). AND the homemade umeshu on the rocks \u0026 rakkyo. i remember every dish deeply.service — he described the name of the restaurant referencing a Roman old saying that there won’t be a need for a revolution as long as there’s pan (bread / food) and circus (entertainment). chef yoshi provides the same concept — of full satisfaction for life (albeit it’s an understatement)— through his incredible dishes and his playful conversation (in japanese and french).atmosphere — cozy, small, similar to small sushi restaurant. but chefs vibe makes the space feel relaxed and warm. we went near the closing hour so got to chat with the chef a lot!cash only.what a memorable experience. epic.
