蛍光灯にカメ虫が沢山でびっくりした。料理は素朴な味。登山客ではなし。
暖炉の火を眺めながらのんびりできる。夕食もボリュームあり、取りたての山菜の天ぷら、筍もおいしかった。また利用したいと思った。

平標茶屋 – One of the Best Weekend StaysWe had one of our best weekends here! My wife suddenly decided to hike Mt. Sennokura on a Friday, and I was scrambling to find a suitable place to stay. That’s when I came across Tairappyo Chaya, located right near the Tairappyo trailhead.I called and explained our last-minute situation. Even though its not common/normal to accept last minute reservations, the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. She not only accepted our booking but also patiently explained everything—from how to get there, when to leave, the local bus schedules, and details about the hiking route. She was so easy to talk to, and her hospitality really stood out.The location is perfect—right by the bus stop and only 700 meters from the Tairappyo trailhead. The rooms were clean, and the check-in process was smooth and simple. The whole place is surrounded by nature, making it peaceful and relaxing.Thanks to Tairappyo Chaya accepting our last-minute request, we were able to enjoy a spontaneous and memorable weekend hike. I highly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to the area!I heard that they have a hotel near the Naeba ski area. We’ll definitely be checking it out this coming winter.
