赤城南面千本桜の標本木。毎年春を告げる小さな合図として、桜の開花・満開判断に使われる「標本木」が、ひっそり佇んでいます。隣接する「みやぎ千本桜の森公園」と合わせて1000本を超える桜の木の代表さん。毎年見事に咲き誇っています!!「Sample Tree of Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura」As a small sign announcing the arrival of spring each year, this “sample tree” is quietly standing here, used to determine the official blooming and full-bloom dates. Together with the neighboring Miyagi Senbonzakura no Mori Park, it represents over 1,000 cherry trees. Every year, it bursts into magnificent bloom!
