獅子吼（ししく）印月池の水源として、北東岸の入り江の奥にある築山の下部に造られた注水口です。瀧の石組みではなく、泉のように水が湧き出すタイプです。古くは高瀬川の水が引かれていたそうですが、高瀬川の水位が下がったため、現在は地下水を汲み上げているそうです。Shishiku (lion's roar) This is a water inlet built at the bottom of an artificial hill at the back of the inlet on the northeast shore as the water source for Engetsu-ike Pond. It is not a stonework waterfall, but a spring from which water gushes out. In the past, water from the Takase River was drawn, but as the water level of the Takase River has dropped, groundwater is now pumped up.
