Sushi is prepared in front of you and it was very fresh. No reservations required, this is a place you should visit when in Karazawa. miso soup is a must!! The counter is simple, but clean. There is an English menu for foreigners. The pricing is very affordable and I would recommend ordering the Toro (fatty tuna). Ala Carte is the way to go as I think it's better value. It seems to be small family run business who seem quite down to earth. They also have a grilled menu but I did not have the opportunity to sample this.
