Yes and no. With my limited Japanese I showed a photo (from Pinterest) of exactly how I wanted my hair to be dyed when I made the booking at the salon. They said they could do that, quoted a price (¥14,000-ish) and made the booking. When I sat down, I showed the same Pinterest photo (second photo, middle) to the stylist (he is also the owner). He looked at it only for two or three times during the bleaching and colouring process. It turned out greyish green (second photo, left) and I thought the greyish colour would fade away after a day or two. However, it was rather far from how I wanted. I went back on the forth day and asked them to fix that. One of the assistants asked if I have photoshopped the photo (seriously?!). The owner came and took a look and used my last bleached as an excuse but that bleach was almost 18 months ago. I trusted that they were professional and would be able to control/choose the right bleach/colour. I asked them to fix that as it was completely different from the Pinterest photo. As I was seated, I put that Pinterest photo up for the whole time to make sure they got it right. They kind of fixed that (second photo, right) without any extra cost but the attitude wasn’t very positive or welcoming. When he gave a final touch of curling, he burnt my ear as he was distracted by other people. It was very painful but he only said sumimazen instead of a sincere apology. I am still not sure of they deserve a second chance.

17年ぐらい通っています。わたしはずーっとショートカットなのですがたいていの美容院はカットして一週間ほどしたらゴワッとしてきてスタイルが決まらなくなるのです…でも、ここでのカットはのびても綺麗におさまります。とても腕がいいと思います。カラーも綺麗です。お店の売りはコーンロウなどの特殊ヘアスタイルです。それもまたかっこいいです。おススメです♡

It was a fantastic experience. My wife has been going here for years and decided to bring the whole family. I don't speak much Japanese but the owner was able to understand what I wanted exactly. Even with my curling hair they were great.
