聖徳太子沐浴の古跡の特徴
池の中にある正方形の石井は、沐浴池の名残です。
朱色の太子堂が西側にあり、歴史を感じる風景が広がります。
白鳥がひっそり佇む神秘的な雰囲気が心を癒します。
頂法寺背後有聖德太子沐浴之地，池中的正方石井，就是昔日沐浴池的遺跡。現在池內當然不會有人沐浴，只用來飼養鯉魚和白天鵝。
太子堂の西側、池の中にある石でできた井筒は、聖徳太子沐浴の古跡と伝えられる場所です。当時このあたりにあった池に太子が入り、身を清めたと伝えられます。その池のほとり、現在の池坊会館（11階建てのビル）の位置に僧侶の住坊が建てられ、池坊と呼ばれるようになりました。現代の境内整備事業で池がよみがえり、白鳥や鯉が泳いでいます。（頂法寺HPより）説明版：聖徳太子沐浴の古跡用明天皇の二年（587）、聖徳太子は四天王寺を建てるための用材をたずねて、ここ、山城国愛宕郡の杣に入った。夕方御持仏を多良の木に懸け、泉で沐浴された。浴後枝に懸けた持仏が木から離れず、光をはなって「我は汝の本尊となって七世を経たが、ここは衆生に利益を与えるにふさわしいい地であるから御堂を建ててほしい」というお告げがあり、この地に六角堂が建立されたと伝える古跡である。（現地説明版より）The stone well in the pond on the west side of Taishido is said to be the historic site of Prince Shotoku's bathing. In the evening he hung his Buddha on a tall tree and bathed in the spring. After taking a bath, the Buddha hung on the branch will not leave the tree, and the light will go out, saying, ``I have become your principal image, and have passed through seven generations.
