5 stars!A little difficult to find but worth it.Go inside and take the elevator to the 3rd floor.The man who cut my hair was really friendly and very skilled.He took his time making sure the hair cut was perfect.Included both schampooing and styling, was very happy with the result.
Needed a haircut when I was travelling. I don’t speak Japanese but the barber spoke enough English to give a haircut and wash that I was very happy with. I’d come back next time I’m in Kyoto. Really great service!

沒想到剪劉海💇只要$500比傳說中的便宜多了！不過後來選擇了順便護髮，完成之後頭髮真的好柔順，心情都變好了呢！而且老闆田園先生人感覺很好（雖然時常聽不懂他在說什麼😂）護髮還有按摩欸，還真的有按到我肩膀痠痛的地方👍而且我沒看過理髮院的人吹頭髮吹那麼細心仔細的，通常都是快速的撥弄頭髮趕快吹乾，但老闆是一叢一叢的用梳子慢慢吹，好溫柔。謝謝田園先生讓我體驗日本的理髮！有機會會再去找親切的老闆的！

This is like…maybe the 5th review I’ve ever done in my life. My barber…I feel so bad I forgot his name, but it started with a “T.” He was amazing! I walked in the middle of a random Monday, so I was the only one, which allowed him the time to really take care of me. I desperately needed a hair cut as I didn’t get one before my trip.He was so nice, despite the limited English and my close to zero Japanese, we had a wonderful conversation (also with the help of translation apps) I have never laughed or talked this much during a haircut ever. I also have never had someone use an array of scissors for like 98% of my cut. He was so meticulous and detailed! When he was almost done, I wanted more of a taper and he was more than happy to oblige, then washed my hair + light/short head massage, AND then he did a “check” and cut my hair again to make sure it was solid.He even gave me a great recommendation for his favorite ramen place, which was right around the corner.If you’re looking for great service with no nonsense charges or upsells, good conversation, and overall wonderful service: this is the spot.Also, if you’re not sure how to find it: blue signage outside, walk straight down to the elevator and up to the 3rd floor; it opens up to his shop. He had a lot of cute little pictures and things on the wall…see if you can spot the mouse warming itself to a candle (don’t worry, it’s just a small picture and not a real mouse lol).Thank you so much T!
